MUSKEGO, WI— April 26, 2019
Transgender professional model Dezjorn Gauthier became apart of the 2019 Black Trans International Pageantry System’s royal court.
Gauthier was sponsored by Princess Janae Place, a non-profit organization out of Bronx, NY. He graced the stage wearing a three piece Ralph Lauren suite and accessories by Manny Styles Bracelets.
On April 25th at the Black Trans Advocacy Conference in Dallas, TX Gauthier proudly took the title “Mr. Black Trans Wisconsin”, making him the first delegate to represent the state of Wisconsin.
“My home state needs work on its representation and visibility of Trans/Non-Binary People of Color (T/NBPOC). It’s time to clean up my own backyard… I want to take my torch of inspiration and light others, so we all can shine” stated Gauthier to the distinguished panel of judges and guests.
Dezjorn Gauthier is a native born, raised and current resident of southeastern Wisconsin. He plans on focusing on health/wellness and helping create change to the current healthcare policies throughout the state, as well as, continuing to raise funds to support other black transmen during his reign. Gauthier is the CEO of Dezjorn International LLC, Executive Director of The Dezjorn International Foundation Inc., apart of The WI LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce and local High School educator.
